Believe it or not, flying cars do actually exist, they're just not out to the public. The flying cars that do exist costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they are extremely dangerous. William Samuel Henson and John Stringfellow were the first people to have the thought of making flying cars, they patented their first concept car in 1843. In, 1917, a man named Glenn Curtiss made the first attempt of a real monoplane. Monoplanes are like mixtures of planes and cars; they are basically cars with wings. In 1949, Molt Taylor created the first functioning Aerocar, the only problem was that it was bulky, weak, and the technology made the ride unsafe. Over the years, Molt studied new models of his Aerocars, trying to make them stronger and more efficient. In 1973, Molt was dominated by a man named Henry Smolinski, the inventor of a hybrid flying car, the AVE Mizar. The AVE Mizar was a Ford Pinto truck that was attached to a set of airplane wings. The flying cars that we own today are made and flown by professionals, as it is too dangerous for the public to be driving cars with long wings, that could easily break down and crash into anything that may come in its way. The most recently invented flying car costs over $740,000, and you would need a driver's license to drive it, as well as a pilot's license to fly it. The amount of fuel and time it takes to make a flying car is so substantial, to where it would cost thousands a month to own and use it. There are chances that it would be safer to make levitating cars, but that wouldn't make any sense to have because you'd still have to be close to the ground. The technology that is growing around us changes our lives in a constant manner, we have robots to fight with us in the military, and self-driving cars to bring us places with the tap of a screen. If something bad happens with our technology, we would be so attached to it, that we wouldn't even know how to reverse what we've done.
Ever since the start of the late 20th century, people have been fantasying about flying cars. There are movies, games, and even TV shows that reminded us about the fact that we're in the future, but it's not like we expected at all. Along with flying cars, people have tried to predict that we'd have things like storm catchers and silver homes made of mirrors in the new 21st century. Humans have been improving technology at a fast rate ever since the start of the first World War. Ice Boxes have turned into Refrigerators and House Phones have become little gadgets that are small enough to fit in your pockets. The world has been connected ever since the inventing of the internet. Our world is futuristic, just in a different way. People have still predicted that there would be robots in the 21st century, and now we have A.I. and self-driving cars. Even though we have the materials to create flying cars, they are too expensive to make, and no one actually has blueprints to look
